Travel Photography: Rovinj, Croatia

Croatia is one of my favorite places in the world to photograph. From the coast to the waterfalls to the cities, there is no shortage of locations to get jaw dropping images of the Balkan country.

But while everyone has seen images of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik, and Plitvice Lakes, there is one hidden gem that a lot of travel photographers have never heard of let alone photographed: the small town of Rovinj in the Istria region of Croatia.

With a spectacular harbor, Venetian architecture jetting from the sea, and miles upon miles of bike paths curving along pristine turquoise water, Rovinj is one of the best photo opportunities that Croatia has to offer.
