Venn is an on-chain security solution for smart contracts, using an open source Firewall built by Ironblocks. It examines transactions before and after execution to protect protocols from hacks. Venn offers easy integration, a user-friendly security management interface, and emphasizes community collaboration in advancing Web3 security.

How Venn enhances our security
Venn prevents exploit transactions before they reach the blockchain, securing transactions in real-time through a decentralized and modular network of security operators. This includes over 20 leading security and infrastructure firms like Sigma Prime and OtterSec. Operators assess the risk and add a small signature to each transaction. Venn ensures only legitimate transactions are processed while blocking malicious activity.
Thanks to our collaboration with Venn, Glue users can now enjoy an additional layer of security. We’re implementing a dedicated protected RPC (Remote Procedure Call) that we strongly recommend to all our users. Here’s how it works:
When you submit a transaction through this protected RPC, Venn’s decentralized network of security providers analyzes it. If they reach a consensus that the transaction might be malicious, it won’t go through. This constitutes an additional layer of defense against scams, exploits, and potential loss of funds.
Our users will now have access to transaction-level two-factor authentication and a suite of other cutting-edge security tools. We’re taking the collaboration a step further by implementing Venn natively on all Glue-launched dApps.
This means that our DApps themselves will be protected against exploits and other security threats — as long as they are identified.
