Redis Static Charge

Why so difficult? Nginx for all your static files and proxy to your node/express server.

Easy, fast (Nginx is optimized for caching static files) and a free load balancer to multiple (PM2) node.js.

I do use Redis for Express session managment, pubsub and database caching.

I also cache within node with just a plain object[key]=value. The problem is that Node/V8/Javascript is so fast that I can not imagine that a roundtrip to a Redis server would be faster? As always every situtation needs an different solution. My goal is always KISS.
