Today, GoWithMi, the world’s first decentralized location-based service infrastructure, has acquired a new generation of multi-chain public chain platform and distributed trusted ecology — Ontology million-dollar strategic investment, both sides will carry out strategic cooperation in terms of digital twin land rights and decentralized location-based services.

As the world’s first decentralized location-based service infrastructure reached strategic cooperations with China’s Beidou Civil Center, Southeast Asia’s largest shared travel company Grab, Indonesia’s largest O2O service platform Gojek, Southeast Asia’s largest consumer lending company Akulaku, Indonesia’s largest e-commerce company Shopee, Indonesia’s largest mobile advertising company Zoomy and Honda, Toyota and other dozens of industry-leading companies. GoWithMi integrates complete decentralized location-based services, super spatial oracle and consensus maps, and is dedicated to complementing the missing last key component of the application of blockchain to the real economy, driving the entity business to leap into the new era of programmable business. It is worth mentioning that in the 18th Asian Games held in Indonesia, GoWithMi launched the Asian Games Smart Map APP, which successfully provided efficient and convenient real-time travel services.

In this cooperation, GoWithMi will receive full technical support from Ontology. Both parties will focus on the digital twin virtual land rights based on the public chain of Ontology, promote the improvement of Indonesia as the core of Southeast Asia and global market chain service infrastructure, and enhance the endogenous value circulation efficiency centered on digital twin virtual land rights. It is expected that in June this year, the ecological economic system and asset facilities of both parties will be realized.

Location-based service is a bridge connecting the virtual and the real world. It is regarded as one of the three basic service facilities in the Internet world. All kinds of digital services related to life and travel are related to location. However, in the current location-based service field, there are several pain points such as forcibly collecting business location related operational data and user trajectory information, ignoring user sharing data revenue rights, centralized data collection is too costly, poor real-time data update, and global imbalance of service quality.

The application scenario of Ontology supports the identification, authentication, and confirmation of people, finances, objects and events on the chain, and will help people, vehicles and objects to achieve effective connection through location-based services.

Through working with GoWithMi to build a cross-platform decentralized location-based service infrastructure, providing complete facilities services integrating location-based services, spatial oracle and consensus maps, both parties will create an innovative “three-in-one” implementation plan from the perspective of spatial consensus, spatial mutual profit, and spatial co-governance. Among them, “spatial consensus” drives regional members to participate in the production, distribution, and management of spatial public information; “spatial mutual profit” enables each participant to gain benefits and value sharing based on trusted location-based services; “spatial co-governance” combines governance on-chain and self-organizing operations off- chain. In this process, blockchain technology naturally guarantees ownership and privacy of personal location-based data.

It is reported that GoWithMi has reached strategic investment support from well-known investors and institutions such as Dr. Chuang Tao, the top experts in the global map, Pre-angel Leo Wang and Manzi Venture Capital, Kresna, Indonesia’s largest IT listed group, and Consensus Lab. The dApp downloads in Indonesia have reached 1,200,000, which will be another strong partner in the Ontology dApp ecology. It is reported that in 2019 GoWithMi dApp aims to attract 10,000,000 Southeast Asian users.

Regarding this cooperation, Andy JI, the co-founder and chief strategy officer of Ontology, believes that:

“Ontology continues to expand the ecological layout in the strategic process of insisting to the ‘entity-based’ approach, and through technical means to achieve effectively complement and upgrade of various key entity scenarios. At the same time, it is also actively exploring overseas markets. Now it is time to focus on the physical applications that can solve the pain points. The cooperation with GoWithMi is a good opportunity to promote the development of navigation, maps, and other applications, which will promote the blockchain to become a common infrastructure. At the same time, we are very pleased to be able to promote the proximity of developers and community partners in Indonesia and even the entire Southeast Asia through this cooperation and look forward that Ontology technology can be used as a window for GoWithMi applications, bringing more convenience to users’ lives.”

Oliver Li, the founder of GoWithMi, stated:

“Working with Ontology is a huge opportunity for us. We will further dig deeper into the pain points of local map services and the refreshing points of users usage, and create more derivative services so that the majority of C-end and B-end users can enjoy the same quality map services as developed countries, and realize digital commercial upgrade and appreciation driven by digital twin virtual land rights. In the future, we will combine the trust ecology of Ontology with the location-based service ecology of GoWithMi with the majority of small and medium-sized businesses to complete the final step of the safe combination of blockchain and the real economy. ”

About Ontology

Ontology is a new generation of public basis chain projects & distributed trust collaboration platform.

Ontology is a new generation of public basis chain projects & distributed trust collaboration platform, providing a new generation of high performance basic public chain, including complete distributed account book and smart contract system support. At the same time, Ontology architecture supports the public chain network system. In addition to providing the basic public chain service, Ontology blockchain framework supports the public chain customization of different applications and supports the chain network cooperation through different protocol groups. On top of the base layer, Ontology will continue to provide general-purpose modules in various distributed applications, such as distributed identity frameworks, distributed data exchange protocols, etc., support distributed trust collaboration components, and will continue to expand new common modules according to application demand.
