We built Goeng because we believe in the importance of connecting with people in real life.
When we took a look around we couldn’t find any tools that made this as easy as it should be. In fact, after doing a bit of digging (read: social network crawling, and massive mechanical turk projects) we saw millions of people using apps that weren’t meant for connecting and settling for a substandard experience. It prompted us to ask ourselves why does something so important, like meeting up with people, have to be so difficult? And what happens if we make it ridiculously easy?
We set out to eliminate the friction in facilitating get togethers with friends and people we’d want to meet. We locked ourselves in a lab and worked hard to assemble a set of features that automated the work and made it super easy. And we nailed it.
