Molon Labe is an ancient expression which means “come and take it”. According to Plutarch, when Persian king, Xerxes, demanded that Spartans surrender their weapons, King Leonidas responded with this phrase.

So our lives aren’t much different from battles. We all struggle, we follow our dreams or we give up our hopes, lie on the couch, drink coffee and cry.

Yesterday i have finished reading an incredible book which is called “ Be the Best Version of Yourself” by Dan Waldschmidt. I have never been underlining so much, this man knows what he says. He’s been through suicide attempt, losing touch of reality and a lot more. This phrase like no other phrase describes our path, our journey to success or whatever you want to accomplish in your life. The important thing just to “come and take it”. Repeat one more time “come and take it”. It might seems like there is nothing wise about this phrase, but let me help you to dig deeply into the understanding this phrase.

We look at the people whose results so loud, whose wallets so huge. We see big companies and think we would never be able to big something like this and Henry Ford would agree with you: “ If you think you can do it you’re right if you think you can’t ,you’re also right”. You can look at the pretty girl and almost pass out because you’re so scared to even try, to even try. We have only one life, its limitless and we scared to death to even try and not be mediocre. It’s insane. But this phrase, has simple, but wise thought if you want something in your life, do it, come and get it and even if it takes a lot of time, hard work, put all your effort in it and grind away.

Cause even if you’re fail at least you’ve tried. At the end of the day you won’t be regretting about things you’ve tried, but about things you haven’t. So just listen what Gary Vaynerchuk, he says: “ It’s always been easy, work is what it takes to get what you want”. So “come and take it” or right now, lie down on the couch, put blanket on you, drink coffee and cry.

P.S Thank you for the great book Dan Waldschmidt
