Computer science is nothing more than a framework for problem solving. The real value is in understanding the problem thoroughly, so you can design the right solution. Without that, we software developers are just translators for computers.
Looking at the Google results “boxed” it actually feels better to me. I contemplated why I would feel this way and I think I have adjusted to the card paradigm of Google Now and others.
Is the material paradigm bad for having “boxed” items? I wouldn’t say it is. Would you?
I’m happy to see someone else benefitting from “calendar based productivity”!
