1. How do I mutate my Discord rank?
Go into 🤖︱mutation-room and type !mutate. You will also need to edit your name by going to the channel list, and tapping the … at the top next to the server name. Then select Change nickname and add ”Goob | ” (no quotes) to the beginning of your name.

Go into 🆙︱goorank and type !rank.
GENERAL 3. When do Goobers launch?
Thursday, September 16, 2021 (see #14 for the release timeline).
4. Where will Goobers be available to purchase?
https://goobers.net/ (the official Goobers website).
5. On which network do Goobers reside?
All Goobers are stored on the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum was chosen because it’s the largest blockchain for NFTs, partnering with by-far the largest and most active secondary market (OpenSea).
6. How many Goobers will be available?
15,000
7. How many different Goober traits are there?
There are 31 colors, 53 hats, 42 brains, 53 outfits, 44 accessories, 27 backgrounds, and 9 animated effects, meaning over 39 BILLION possible combinations!
8. Will there be add-ons available for Goobers (accessories, mutations, etc.)?
None are planned at this time. Please see the roadmap on the official Goober’s website for upcoming features and milestones.
10. Are Goobers going to be listed on https://rarity.tools/ ?
Yes, we have applied to be listed there and are awaiting approval.
11. How do I get on the ETH whitelist?
Mutate your Discord rank (see #1), and be active on the server. There will also be occasional whitelist spot giveaways, so keep your eye on 🧠︱goob-giveaways.
12. What is the airdrop?
Everyone who completed the CLU Learner Quest prior to Sept. 7 will get a free Goober via airdrop, though you will have to pay gas fees (see #21).
13. I have multiple accounts, can I get on the whitelist with each one?
No. We only support a single account per user. Claiming multiple whitelist spots or airdrops is not allowed, and won’t be accommodated by staff.
14. When can I purchase Goobers?
• CLU Presale: Thurs. Sept. 16 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST (only for those on the CLU whitelist).
• CLU Main Sale: starts Thurs. Sept. 16 at 3:00 pm EST.
• ETH Presale: Fri. Sept. 17 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm EST (only for those on the ETH whitelist).
• ETH Main Sale: starts Fri. Sept. 17 at 3:00 pm EST
15. Will there be a delay between when sales start and when my Goober is revealed?
Yes, though the date of the reveal has yet to be announced.
16. How much will it cost to mint a Goober?
• CLU Presale: CLU equivalent to 0.04 ETH.
• CLU Main Sale: CLU equivalent to 0.06 ETH.
• ETH Presale: 0.08 ETH.
• ETH Main Sale: 0.08 ETH.
NOTE: the ETH main sale price of 0.08 ETH will remain in place until all Goobers are sold out. After that time, Goobers will only be available on secondary markets like OpenSea.
17. How many Goobers will be available for purchase during presale?
• CLU Presale: at least 3,000.
• ETH Presale: no more than 2,500.
NOTE: any unsold Goobers during the CLU presale will roll over into the CLU main sale. Unsold Goobers from both the CLU main sale and the ETH presale will be rolled into the ETH main sale.
18. Are there any limitations on how many Goobers I can purchase?
Yes, each stage has its own purchase limitations:
CLU Whitelisted Presale: 1 per address.
CLU Main Sale: 10 per transaction.
ETH Whitelisted Presale: 4 per address.
ETH Main Sale: 20 per transaction.
19. What is the process for buying Goobers with CLU?
There will be two transactions that you will need to approve. First, a transaction to the CluCoin Main Contract. This will permit the CluGoober contract to transfer funds in order to pay with CLU.
Second, a transaction to the CluGoober contract. This will deposit CLU into it, proportional to the number of Goobers you want to purchase (or more transactions of this type if you intend to buy several times). You will also need to enter the Ethereum address that you would like the Goobers to be delivered to. A different address may be entered with each purchase.
20. Will there be a discount when purchasing with CLU to account for the 10% CLU transaction fee?
Yes, there will be a 25% discount to offset gas fees, and the CLU transaction fee will be waived.
21. Will there be gas fees?
Yes, gas fees are a part of every transaction on the Ethereum network. You will need to pay gas fees to claim your Goobers, even those given via the airdrop.
22. How can I claim my Goobers purchased with CLU or given via the airdrop?
Goobers purchased with CLU will be available to claim starting Fri. Sept. 17 at 9:00 pm EST. They will be reserved for you forever until claimed at the ETH address you specify during purchase (so you can claim them when ETH gas fees are low).
23. How are proceeds from Goobers sales going to be used?
• CLU sales: all proceeds from CLU sales of Goobers will be burned.
• ETH sales: funding further development of Goobers.
24. Will there be Goober giveaways?
Yes, but we won’t be purchasing any Goobers for giveaways for at least one week after launch to ensure a natural, healthy market forms. Any Goobers for giveaways will be purchased from the secondary market.
SECONDARY MARKET (RESALES)
25. What percentage cut is being taken from secondary sales?
The Goobers contract grants us 10% of all secondary market fees. 3% will be used to buy back and burn CLU, with the other 7% being used to achieve the goals/milestones on the roadmap and fund the future development of Goobers.
26. How will I know I’m buying real Goobers and not fakes?
Official Goobers will be available through https://goobers.net/ until the run of 15,000 is sold out. For the secondary market, we will be providing the contract address which you can compare against what is being sold. We will also be verifying the collection with OpenSea ASAP, so you can easily browse all official Goobers in the collection.
