Goons of Balatroon Announce Public Round Token Sale Info
The long-awaited launch of the $GOB token is almost here! Let’s go over what the $GOB token provides, where it is being launched and how you can participate in the public sale.
$GOB Token
The entire ecosystem of GOB is powered by, well, $GOB! This token is used to purchase key assets such as: faction characters, card packs, and soon- even land. It is also necessary to craft new cards, lease assets, purchase customizations, and has many more in-game utilities!
$GOB can be earned by holding Goons and Bods, as well as playing GOB games such as the flagship trading card game that you’ve probably already seen or heard about. If that doesn’t ring a bell, read more about the upcoming game, here.
Fundraising
To bootstrap our wider plans like a full-scale metaverse and other future games, GOB has run a fundraising campaign involving the standard seed and private rounds. These rounds are sold out and complete. Major announcements will come next week, regarding our powerhouse lineup of new partners, backers, and investors!
The final, remaining stage in the token launch process, is the public round, or sale. $GOB will be launched via multiple IDOs, or more precisely, launchpads, in early July. The launchpad platforms that we will use are BullPerks, GamesPad, KOIStarter, and possibly one more!
How to Participate in the Public Sale
If you have any interest in participating in the public sale and getting tokens before they hit the exchanges, you have two options to do so:
Option 1: Participate in the GOB whitelist contest, on Gleam, to win 1 of 40 available whitelist spots, allocated to the GOB community. Winners will receive instructions on how to claim their whitelist on one of the participating launchpads.

KYC and Restrictions
If you win one of the whitelist spots, you’ll need to pass KYC on the launchpad’s platform for regulatory purposes. You cannot participate if you are a resident of any of the following jurisdictions:
Unfortunately there are some restrictions as far as who can participate. US entities/individuals cannot participate in the private sale. Each participating entity/individual must pass a KYC process.
