Infinex — Cryptocurrency for the Future & Now
What if I told you that of the many Master Node projects out there, there are but a select few that truly stand out from the rest? That may just be the case with Infinex, a new cryptocurrency that will provide its own decentralized exchange, social media network, streaming, and gaming platforms under one roof. In the world of cryptocurrency, it is easy to feel like Ishmael, floating about the open seas with Captain Ahab, hunting for that elusive whale, that one massive payload. What many tend to discover rather quickly, however, is that overnight success is the stuff of myths and fairytales. Here, the adage slow and steady wins the race is the more favorable stance, and there will be many more cryptocurrency projects to crash and burn than those that will succeed. What is Ishmael to do? Does he continue to wander the oceans aimless, or will he turn to his trusty compass and begin plotting a course to success?
The question is a good one, and we do well to consider that without a proper course, without direction, any project is doomed. What most have been calling the digital ‘Wild West,’ is certainly no place for children, that is, the unhardened or naïve. It takes a dedicated team of developers with sharp vision and a determination to answer the difficult questions, find creative solutions, and push the envelope of blockchain technology to infinity and beyond. Infinex appears to be doing just that and then some.
What is the Infinex project? As the name would suggest, it seeks to be a cryptocurrency of infinite possibilities. With a robust network of Master Nodes providing security, speed, and processing power, the potential is massive. InfiniLife is a decentralized social networking solution allowing people to connect with one another safely and securely, without the risk of data mining or a loss of privacy. InfiniDex is a decentralized exchange with the potential to be the one-stop shop for all trading, offering trade pairs for cryptocurrency coins and ERC20 tokens alike. With built-in tools like trading view, InfiniDex will provide useful functionality that other exchanges lack. The InfiniAppStore will be a hub for decentralized apps, making it easy for developers to publish and distribute DApps. InfiniLive has the potential to revolutionize how content creators share their videos and streams. And InfiniFun, a decentralized network for gamers, is a new take on connecting with others for fun.
At the core of Infinex is a solid code base comprised of Bitcoin core and Dash. The code will soon be ported from C++ to C#, adding support for SegWit and the lightening network. This will increase the speed and security of transactions, while remaining open to future development.
How will Infinex accomplish its goals? Simply, one step at a time. The Infinex Road Map shows how the developers have already plotted a course and their Blog entries and status updates on GitHub and Discord show active development and progress. The InfiniDex exchange will soon be ready for Alpha release and further testing, a clear sign that the team has not been asleep at the wheel.
The future is one of infinite possibilities. Perhaps Infinex is onto something with its modern approach to breaking down barriers and innovating for the future. What will come of the project only time can tell, but if it were up to me, I would keep a close eye on this whale of a crypto about to shoot up out of the water with a big splash.
