Great article Joshua, I agree designers need to focus much more on business. I was pursuing a dual degree MDes/MBA from the Institute of Design but I found I was learning much more about the design side of business in my design courses.

I feel as though the MBA has become a catch all degree or something people feel as though they need to have if they want to be taken seriously at the adult table, but I am very interested to see the trajectory of my fellow students who decided to stick with getting both a Masters of Design and an MBA.
