I just wanted to comment on the word ‘meek’. One day, many years ago, I was listening to a radio programme where the guest was talking about word origins and how the meanings of words change over time.

Apparently, ‘meek’ was first used to describe the precision and discipline of chariot horses who could turn on a dime (using a more modern term). How it came to be associated with a form of weakness is a story I haven’t heard or don’t remember. But I like your definition.
