gentle phantasms in grey

pressed to my skin like fire

a goblet of wine and the

grotesque butterfly with

the armour of a dragon

sleeps inside me, yet running

a fragrant blaze of dark pink.

the taste of souls lingering,

my lungs twisting in disbelief

with the breath of volcanoes

and sweet pixie dust

it begins

a clashing of two supernovas

dark and light, heat and ice

life and death, upon the

crevasse of my heart

where no truer self speaks.

oceans rising, existence in deluge

standing on my feet, the eye of

the world gazing at sophrosyne

in a lasting revelation.

I blink and the mirage evaporates

it ends
