vickikasabian, as a teacher once said to me on an interview, it was his job to encourage students and help them forward, not the media’s. If you are a teacher, you must learn how to teach in your own way. As a unknown person said, “The best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.” and in my opinion, this person is correct. I have visited and sat in many classes, and have taught a few classes myself in everywhere from Africa to China. I have taught varying degrees from 3 years old learning their first letters to 13 year olds who are just as smart as me. However, I have never in my life told a student to go and read out of a book or give them an article or learn how to teach out of an article. My travels of the world have taught me this: People respected me more if I actually teached them using my own mind, not a book.
