Graspeo Updated: Context Menu, Smarter Search and More!

Graspeo team has been working on several new features and on adding several improvements to the website. Although we are in Beta stage, we have been receiving encouraging feedback and lots of suggestions.

A major part of these improvements is thanks to your feedback, so keep it coming!

1- New Context Menu

Just as in your desktop, now you can right click on every file or folder on Graspeo to access the context menu. You can download, move (yes that’s new too ☺), or delete the file or folder directly from that menu.

You can equivalently access these options just by moving the mouse over the file or folder:

2- Smarter Search

Search in Graspeo keeps getting more powerful.

Today, we are introducing Global Search, where you can find people, spaces, or resources directly from the search box.

Another optimization is that it is now easy to invite people to your spaces based on their profile description and not only on their names. If a team is called “Graspeo”, the people search will suggest to you those who have “Graspeo” in their profile description.

Moreover, you no more have to enter the whole word to start getting results. Graspeo has now partial matching, where a few letters are enough for it to give you the results.

3- Various Improvements

We have also added improvements throughout Graspeo to make the user experience even more friendly.

1- If the file preview is not enough, now you can press on View File (previously called Raw) to see the file inside a new tab if your browser supports that file type.

2- Text files and Html files can now be previewed just like other files (PDF, Images, Video) inside the preview.

3- The preview box is now bigger. It shows your PDF documents in full width.

4- The button for downloading the whole space compressed as a zip file is now closer to you:

5- We have added a password reset option in case you forgot your password.
