GreenCardOrganization | Electronic Diversity Visa
Electronic diversity visa, this is the product of a program that is also known as the green card lottery. This is a lottery of the sort conducted by the government of the United States of America. Various people from select countries could apply for the lottery, but only 50 000 immigration visas are made available by the government. The government would then go ahead to select applicants from countries with the lowest immigration rates into the United States in the previous half a decade. So this option is available only to countries that have the lowest rates of immigration into the United States in the previous five years.
There is no back door, so do not trust all the schemes that claim to be able to surely increase your likelihood of being picked for the electronic diversity visa. Just input your data to the State Department`s website for free and be patient. There is an allowed registration period after which no entries are allowed into the website anymore.
After successfully filling the online form, a confirmation would be sent to you. You are expected to print out the confirmation and carefully retain the confirmation number allocated to you. This number allows you to check for further information.
If you are fortunate enough to be called in for review at the United States Embassy or Consulate in your region, then there are a few things you would like to take note of.
First and foremost, take serious note of the details of your interview. The date, the time and any additional information addressed to residents in your region. Any form of delay or lateness on your part could lead to denial of your visa application. If you have any questions, contact the embassy or consulate ahead of time.
Second, you would have to schedule a meeting with a recognized and authorized physician in your region. You and the people you included in your application would need to undergo a complete medical examination. This examination would also involve taking the required vaccines. All of these are to be completed before your electronic diversity visa interview.
You would need to put all the required documents in place. These documents could include appointment information document, evidence of your Diversity Visa (DV) qualifying education and job, passports and other documents.
Before the interview, the applicants are expected to pay the Diversity Visa Lottery Fee, which is $330 for each individual. Other charges may come up as a result of the process itself such as your medical or local government fee.
These processes may seem pretty straightforward in pursuing an electronic diversity visa. The truth is that they are. But professional assistance could help prevent cases of “if only.” Getting in touch with professionals to provide counseling and guidance while helping you prepare for your interview would be a wise decision. This is not a scam to say that you will definitely succeed but, to help you make sure you are very prepared for your interview.
