Thanks, Hannah, it was an interesting read. Try to keep in mind a couple of things if you peruse some earlier comments:

1. “Stupidity is the only universal capital crime.” (Robert A. Heinlein) People who are stupid enough, long enough, are eventually deleted by Mother Nature, because (as we all remember) Nature abhors a vacuum … including the ones that exist between the ears.
2. I’ve fought against capital punishment for 50 years, but rape, child abuse and the blatantly stupid racism I see in some people do make me stop & reconsider my position now & then.
