I have no Idea what the Dutch are doing with Muslims, what I do know is in Germany the police are so passive that the locals are being told to not go to certain areas where they once went for their own safety, that is not policing, that is capitulation to an ethnic minority of immigrants and refugees that the political class of the EU is perpetrating on its members[look at surveys, Germans are out looking for guns since the police do nothing]. And this is not changing the subject, ethnic minorities would love to be able to intimidate the political landscape to the point of making the police stay away in the US….like it or not they are being profiled since they commit a grossly disproportionate amount of the violent crimes [mostly to each other], so they will be stopped more often. Comparing the Dutch to the US is apples and Oranges, theirs is a basically homogeneous society and ours is not, same with Sweden where Black American businessmen are routinely asked to leave Stockholm night clubs and if they do not the police make them, and not nicely[the NYTimes complicity does not report it but the word gets around]. So all is not sweetness and light over there either. Tell me with all the publicity of cops shooting people, how many people do you think are shot by cops in a year, and how many are accidental or could be termed unjustified? To give you a starting point, civilians in the US justifiably kill over three times as many criminals comiting violent crimes as cops do and that number is under 2000 per year. The numbers that are being talked about are staggeringly small, and I am not trying to in any way justify any of them, but I sincerely doubt that doubling the training of police will eliminate anywhere near 90% of the deaths. I would suggest that bringing back elements of civility to our culture through our educational, parenting, business, and other cultural systems, which I would suggest to you are present in Holland, would go a lot further than sending the cops to two more years of school….many police academies in the last 20 years have also instituted modified CIA type psychological testing to weed out some of the shorter fused and other bad trained individuals[my daughter the clinical Dr. Has given them in her practice]. That takes a good two generations to get everyone done and cleared in the system.
