Reverend Nigga Daddy

It’s hard to place a particular element on it, but after moving from Ohio to South Carolina, at least my area, there seems to be a much more respectful demeanor on everyone’s part. It seems so much easier to strike up a conversation with anyone, especially one not of your ethnicity. There is much less attitude on most people’s part and the politeness seems to breakdown a lot of the social barriers that exist elsewhere. The more ‘old fashioned’ or trational habits & behaviors that still exist here of please, thank you, holding a door, etc, rather than folks acting entitled, appear to engender respect for all humanity; those little things go a long way toward drawing us together, having daily conversations which were not possible in other venues, and not holding us apart. Just an observation on local culture.
