Socialism has never succeeded for any length of time anywhere, it fails when the state cannot tax the middle class to support is programs anymore and then rationing begins, since the middle class has basically disappeared; and only the elites in that particular society have what they want….its pretty much where we are headed and capitalism is not what getting us there, it’s the over regulation and taxation of our socialist style of government. It has come true that individuals and corporations are voting and lobbying themselves largess from the government complements of the other half of us who pay the freight and we are an ever dwindling group. That is not capitalism, it’s a form of socialistic Fascism where the government is picking winners and losers….and not by any form of merit.
