You’re Not Meant to Do What You Love
Brianna Wiest

The fatal flaw with any profession is that you of course must have aptitude, but then comes the hard part of experience in your field and doing the requisite research to be able to do a credible job on a daily basis. Many writers in the journalism field do not do the background checking and fact finding that most book authors pains takingly do and we end up with the poor quality of news we have today that has no context and in many cases is out right wrong. The written word serves as a touchstone for those who look at the history of our society, and I often wonder what their judgement will be when they look at the reporting of events vs the reality and totality of our history.
