Some of us already know this, but I appreciate your post, nonetheless. What about when the search for motivation comes up empty, and our inner nihilist is laughing at our attempts to find purpose or desire. When the people we love feel like a burden because of the responsibility we have to them, and the job we keep to support them is digesting our soul, and everyone always wants something from us, and the neighbors won’t shut up in the middle of the night, and even our diversions are tedious and left incomplete, what if all we want anymore is to be left alone?
