Sorry your business didn’t make it but in my view you missed the #1 mistake: You were selling to the wrong people. Businesses only work if they make sense to the people who pay. You made sense to the people who got free travel. Instead of being impressed by 400k people who wanted free holidays, your business needed people keen to sponsor. What was in it for them?
If you’d been American you’d still have faced that problem and I doubt the ending would have been any different. Maybe you would have lost even more money!
I’ve built several successful startups and have started a few dogs too. Focus on Sales is my advice. Get that right and the rest should follow.
