I was getting ready to comment what you wrote about towards the end. I’m 27 so maybe I’m too far removed from college life, but I have never really run into these “triggered, everything is offensive” people.

I do improv locally and am usually around the comedy scene in my city. People don’t mind if you bring up a taboo topic so long as it’s for something. I’ve seen improvisers die on stage when they shout out randomly “abortion” or “rape” to get cheap laughs. But I’ve seen others succeed if they use it as a way of establishing a character or bringing something of weight to a scene. Everything is a matter of context.
