feeling lighter
what do you do when you have a feeling you’d rather not feel? you wish that feeling would obey your reasoning and stop being felt, but then it appears in your dreams when you least expect and slips between the words you say without thinking…
some feelings just don’t go away that easy; you resist them, you don’t feed them, you don’t let them grow and learn to live with them, but they decide when it’s time to be unfelt.
the best part of the process is when, one day, without notice, you realize you just don’t feel it anymore. that simple. you wake up and come to that conclusion. and from then on you know the feeling is still there, you can see it in you, but it’s now part of a story from the past. a story that is over. and so is the feeling.
