The Decline of War

Excellent and informative article. We will just have to wait and see who is our next warmonger president, to find out your predictions will hold water. I am optimistic that war will have to alienate itself from the world. However, history has shown us; where there is capitalism, there is a need for more manufacturing of war artillery. Also, President Obama has sold and traded more weapons than his predecessors.

Clinton is very hawkish, and she is known to side with governments that provocate for war. Trump, does not have a clue who he is at war with, all he knows that if can order fighter jets to bomb countries, and put his brand on it (then success is at his fingertips).

War is big business my friend, and I do not see this industry vanishing anytime soon. In actuality, we need war because it provides jobs, and gives a legitimate reason for politicians to request more funding for the military.

Sorry I lied, I am a pessimist.
