Prolonged stagnation

minutes morph into hours

- days… wretched weeks

devoid of muse-flash

… thoughts linger in vacuums

of slow-motion decay

decomposing

birth and death of inspiration

in simultaneous

synchronicity of mental corrosion…

Dust to dust, ashes to ashes

thoughts live and die in the mental attic

the weight of nothing slowly crushes

into

rubble…

Suns-warmth-moon-glow

bird-song-silence-grows

mind spins

in the empty echo

star-fall-rain-tear-suns-warmth-moon-glow… echo echo
