All so true. If I’d known then, etc. I thought that once I had an agent…and then a publisher, an editor, a big pub house, a publicist …that I’d be all set! Well on my way! Turns out I was a debut author among millions and I put in a year’s worth of pushing the PR for my book all on my own. The learning curve is steep. This is great advice, and much of it I’ll take to heart as I get deeper into my next book. Thanks for the post!
