THERE ARE NO GAMES OF FOOTBALL ON THE TELLY TONIGHT ! Well what a World Cup we are beholding. What Ho! I say eh? Imagine Nutmeg’s surprise on watching El Roja falling at the first, & saying goodbye to Italy, Portugal and the Ivory Coast. Yet, here we are still watching a barnstorming WC full of goals and attacking verve. Chile, Colombia ( who knew?! ), Netherlands, Germany, USA and even France all a joy to watch. Brazil and Argentina are farting about until the meet each other in the final. And Engerland, well. They were 3rd seed in the group and ended up 4th. Not so much a disaster. But he baggers league eh? Oh it’s ebbed and it’s flowed…………actually that’s not true — the same 3 have been out in front since the off more or less and the bottom 3 have been the bottom 3 and the middle has been the middle. But at least the handbags have been flying what? Remember that email ? you know ? the one that said ‘bummers!’ The bags ain’t what they usedto be thats for sure. That being said WhatsApp has been a constant chucklathon and provided the image of the WC so far……
