I think BI article overlook a few other factors in the beer/alcohol industry too. RE: Boston Beer Co., I think Sam Adams is facing the same dilemma as the other “Big Beers” (Bud, Coors, Millers, etc.), as millennials gravitate more towards micro-, craft & locally-brewed beers. RE: Constellation Brands, they hold a fairly diversified portfolio of spirit & wine brands too, so their stock downgrade can’t be just because of a decreased appetite for beer or shifting preference towards other alcohol beverages.
