Meet our Summer 2019 startups cohort!

Elevo 🤝 🖋

In 2016, former Y- Combinator alumni Etienne Le Scaon and Thibault Vilon launched Elevo, an annual subscription solution cloud allowing companies to transform their gruelling annual RH meetings into a friendly atmosphere. Their new technology displays continuous feedback and modernizes the follow-up of the employees, inspired by methods already popular at Google, GE or Accenture. With a 300% sales increase last year and useful resources such as RH guides on their website, they have already helped companies such as Aircall and Captain to scale up faster.

They target companies between 100 & 5000 employees (If if you are one of them, you know who to reach 😎).

Petit Côté 🥒 🥕

Rugby teammates Juliette Morel and Capucine Epagneau kicked off their company Petit Côté in 2018 when they were selected to compete in the contest « passez votre CAP pâtissier » by Michel & Augustin. After learning all the ropes there, they realized there was a lack of healthy snacks available on the biscuit market, either too rich in calories or nutritious but tasteless. Their solution? Petit Côté, cakes made of 40% of organic vegetables containing 3x less fat and 3x less sugar to enjoy dessert while keeping your health in check and respecting the environment. Inspired by cooking classics such as the carrot cake, their food revolution is starting to bear their fruits. The company was present at the last edition of Viva Tech summit in Paris and, April 2019, won the « C’demain » prize, which will allow them to be distributed in fifty Casino group supermarkets. This is the 6th startup contest the company have won this year.

Be cool as a cucumber and try them! 😋

Entoureo 👵🏻 🧓🏻

Firefighting in Marseille, Kevin Lamberton was stricken with the isolation that many elderly people suffer. This experience brought him to create with his friend Thomas Delage, Entoureo, a solution that enables a family to keep track of their history and reunite generations around unique convivial moments. Do you know in which village did your granny grew up? How did she meet grandpa? What did her parents do for a living? Kevin and Thomas help families answer these questions and many more by providing the Entoureo box containing a tie-clip to record the voice of your relatives and guides to discuss themes such as childhood or the spouse first encounter. The recording is then transcribed with a voice-to-text technology and gathered, laid out and printed by Entoureo in a book delivered to the client. Photographs can be added to the book and the final result is also saved on a web platform, « a digital fortress ». They were among the 10 winners of the 2019 « 100 jours pour entreprendre » where 120 startups were competing for the prize.

Twicpics 👀 📸

Developers Julian Aubourg, Xavier Baldacci and Florent Bourgeois kept banging their heads against the walls with an image performance issue: tailor them is extremely challenging impacting the website’s overall conversion rate, customer satisfaction and thus, impacts revenues. They scouted for services that would alleviate the pain but none of them addressed the problem the way they wanted. Comes in Twicpics a real-time image processing service, which offers on-demand responsive image generation combined with a smart and unobtrusive URL-based API. With this service, developers always use the biggest, most detailed version of the image and everything is handled automatically. The end-user never sees the original image. Instead, an optimized, perfectly sized, smartly cropped, device-adapted image is delivered from a server close to him with benefits ranging from cost-effectiveness, revenue and engagement to a faster time to market.

Remember a picture is worth more than a thousand words! 🤗

Justice.cool ⚖️ 👩🏻‍⚖️

After founding Refund My Ticket, Romain Drosne launched his « Legal Tech » company Justice.cool. This digital platform aims to promote access to justice and a fairer world by relying on an A.I. system that has memorized more than 1.5 million of court decisions and thousands of claims to settle small litigations its customers face on a daily basis throughout Europe.

Following a specializing in airline litigation with Refund My Ticket, Justice.cool with officially launch its online platform by the end of the summer at first with a focus on disputes between tenants and owners or those related to the workplace.

Don’t worry — you just found a platform that really does you justice! 🧐

Tarmac Technologies ✈️📍

Created in 2018 by a team of aviation enthusiasts Anthoine Dusselier, Maud Payan and Delphine Deleger spread between Paris and San Francisco, Tarmac Technologies started because of a simple yet startling observation: ground operation remain poorly digitized and highly inefficient today. While the passengers’ journey has been improved through the use of technology in the last few years, the operational side is underserved, still relying on outdated and unadapted systems. The lack of appropriate solution results in increasing delays, the longer turnaround time for aircraft and untapped capacity for airports. The company’s mission is to enable seamless aircraft ground operations, in order to minimize aircraft’s time on the ground and expand the airport’s efficiencies. Tarmac technologies communication and tracking platform bring all stakeholders together to monitor operations, increase data sharing and improve collaborations.

Imagin’office 👩🏼‍💻 🖇

Sick of lacking space? Not knowing where to start your project? To have your bank account in the red because of coworking costs? Faced with the complexity of the real estate jungle and its lack of offers adapted for startups, Gaël Lebreton and Meryem Benadberrazik crafted the solution Imagin’office to entrepreneurs to facilitate their research for an office and then its management.

« An office is not for dying. An office is a place for living life to the fullest, to the max, to… an office is a place where dreams come true », Michael Scott, aka Steve Carell, The Office. 📌
