Heineken History — 150 years of trailblazing brewing
From a small family-owned brewery in the heart of Amsterdam to the largest global presence in the brewing world.
The story started on 15th of February 1864 when Gerard Adriaan Heineken bought ‘De Hooiberg’ (The Haystack) brewery in Amsterdam at the young age of 22, the story of beer was destined to change forever. Being an innovator, passionate for quality and always striving for better, Heineken® dominated global markets. HEINEKEN, being a company rooted in family values, was passed on to the second generation; Henry Heineken.

The journey keeps expanding and at the latest generation of Heineken’s family, Mrs. Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken and Mr. Michel de Carvalho-Heineken. Presently we are having our brands in 192 countries around the world as part of The HEINEKEN Company. Mr. Dolf van den Brink is currently the Chairman Executive Board/ CEO of The HEINEKEN Company follow by the Executive Team Member and more than 82,000 employees globally.

We, at HEINEKEN Cambodia, are a proud part of The HEINEKEN Company. We find our roots in Cambodia back in 1994. We use state-of-the-art technologies and the passion of our people to create the drinks which our consumers love.
Locating at the outskirt of the city, our address at Tiger Beer Road, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, we are having both our brewery and commercial office together with more than 700 employees.
