It’s been a few weeks since we launched our new iOS app, and we have an exciting update. We are making it easier and more fun to make your writing and voice contributions.
With the new writing contribution features, you’ll be able to write with purpose and ease. We often found that it was hard to keep the resources in mind when making a writing contribution. For example, let’s say a project had a step to write a poem based on an image. With our new writing contribution feature, you will have the opportunity to see all resources that are a part of the project step. This will allow you to reference the image while writing.
To spark your creativity even more, it’s even possible to listen to an audio recording or watch a video while you write.
Even more exciting is the new voice recording or audio recording contribution flow.
For voice acting specifically, it was near impossible to record your voice without 2 screens — one screen to read the script, another screen to record. Now it’s all in one. You can access the script along with other resources, and record from the same screen. This feature is available on the latest version of the HITRECORD iOS app. Android is coming soon.
We can’t say how excited we are about it.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt always tells me “if you want to be an actor, the best thing you can do to start is some voice acting.”
We are ecstatic about these improvements to help you with contributing to HITRECORD.
We’re going to start rolling these types of improvements across all of our types of contributions, but wanted to get each one out to the HITRECORD community as fast as possible. Please be patient with us as we improve the other types of contributions as well.
As always, we’d love to hear your feedback, e-mail us at support@hitrecord.org and let us know what you think. We also love hearing positive feedback on the app store.
