1. Project Progress

1.1 Hardware Acceleration Engine BOE Progress

The BOE Acceleration Engine hardware debugging has been completed. All sampled BOE hardware units have passed hardware and logical function verification and are packaged for shipment to the successful node applicants worldwide.

1.2 MainNet Testing Progress

1. Server set-up: A total of 40 server modules have been set-up as part of our in-house data-processing center, featuring all suitable servers that have passed our server testing requirements for the BOE Acceleration Engine hardware unit. Currently these servers are used to execute final testing prior the HPB MainNet launch.

2. Automated Testing of MainNet: Complementary to manual testing, focused on automatically testing basic functions/ features, bifurcation automatic detection, High-Performance Node consistency and TPS performance confirmation.

3. Hardware environment: Minimum hardware requirements ensure reliable operations.

1.3 HPB Node Plan — Status

The HPB Node Application Phase came to a close and was completed successfully. At precisely 00:00 August 1, 2018 the HPB Node Application had received 7,841 community registrations for the election and a total of 67 institutional registrations for the invitation. Among the 7,841 community Node Applications for the election, 138 applicants passed hardware testing successfully and entered the KYC vetting stage

1.4 DAPPs Progress

1. Features of the HPB Wallet account manager have been fully developed and began testing before coming online.

2. The code of the HPB Wallet has been fully compiled and we started testing.

3. The design of the voting feature has been completed and is being integrated in the HPB Wallet.

4. Smart contract code development has been completed and smart contract debugging and testing is ongoing.

5. The HPB scanning feature, which will feature all transactions of the HPB Blockchain, and its underlying code have been compiled and is undergoing testing.

6. The design of both the HPB Wallet and HPB Explorer are currently being reviewed and internal deployment is expected to begin next week.

2. HPB Branding and Awareness

  • On July 26th, HPB announced our cooperation with the established blockchain gaming company Oasis. This cooperation will accelerate the adoption of commercial gaming applications as part of our growing DApp ecosystem.
  • On July 27th, HPB attended the Kunming World Expo and had a meetup with our partner Caiyun Blockchain Alliance and Pachong Capital.
  • In late July, a list of institutions including BlockOrigin Capital, BitcoinWorld, BTCC POOL, GeekAcademy, Cobo, HPB.fish, ByStake, Hello, GTime Capital, Stars Capital, bixiaobai.com, Turing Network, and Lege Capital joined the HPB Node Election to support and contribute to HPB Node Ecosystem.
  • At the end of July, HPB partnered with Prophet (the world’s leading distributed prediction platform) to explore a future collaboration and improvements to the DAO.
  • In early August, HPB invited the Hunan University FinTech Research Center to join the HPB Node Ecosystem, to drive technical blockchain research.
  • On August 6th, HPB reached in-depth cooperation with blockchain e-sport company LightSecond, which will use HPB’s infrastructure to integrate their blockchain game Ace Chariot and build a gaming DApp. With the growing blockchain gaming industry, new blockchain games will emerge that are more complex, easier to use, safer and more fun.
  • On August 9th, HPB Business Development Director Danny Rowshandel gave HPB project updates during an extensive interview with YouTube Key Opinion Leader Crypto Zombie. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkW70Fx8R98&feature=youtu.be)
