United States Agency for International Development (USAID) delegation led by Jonathan Kamin from the Africa Bureau, recently visited Munuki Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) in Munuki area to assess the Centre which provides medical services to a population of about 70,000 in Juba.
Munuki PHCC is supported by Health Pooled Fund (HPF) South Sudan through its implementing partner HealthLink — which recently installed electricity and water supply in the Centre.
Peter Young, the Centre’s clinical officer in-charge told the USAID delegation that the electricity has transformed the Centre’s daily delivery of critical healthcare services to the area’s population.
While acknowledging the challenges of healthcare delivery in South Sudan, Jonathan Kamin thanked the medical teams and staff at Munuki PHCC and assured them of USAID’s continued support to health care in South Sudan. …

SSEPS tool has been rolled out in 52 counties out of 55 counties.
