How To Do Business Right Way

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a successful businessman before he became a prophet. He was known for his honesty, integrity, and fairness in his dealings with others. He also taught his followers how to do business in the right way.

Here are some of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) teachings on business:

• Be honest and trustworthy. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The trader is the trustworthy one, truthful and sincere.” (Tirmidhi) Honesty and trustworthiness are essential for success in business. When customers and suppliers know that they can trust you, they are more likely to do business with you.
• Be fair and just. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “O you who believe! Be guardians of justice, bearing witness for Allah, even against yourselves or your parents and your kindred.” (Quran 2:183) Fairness and justice are also essential for success in business. When you are fair and just in your dealings with others, you build a good reputation for yourself and your business.
• Avoid cheating and deception.
