A competitor to the Raspberry Pi, the Orange Pi PC 2 is a single-board quad-core computer for under $20.

Measuring 3.3″ x 2.2″ and weighing 2.5 ounces, the open-source 64-bit SBC features an Allwinner H5 quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor with Mali-450 graphics, 1GB Of RAM, and a microSD slot.

Ports includes Ethernet, three USB, HDMI, A/V. The Orange Pi PC 2 is also equipped with a power switch, an IR blaster, and a 40-pin header compatible with the Raspberry Pi.

On the software side, the Orange Pi PC 2 is capable of running Android 4.4, Ubuntu, Debian, as well as Banana Pi and Raspberry Pi images.

As for what you can get this board to do is pretty much only limited by your imagination. Turn it into a pocket-sized computer or wireless server, play games or music, or make it the heart of your next homebrew project.
