He’s not that far off from your comparison to Wall and Curry. He’s a star, and most importantly still super young. If he’s given the opportunity to develop as an alpha of the team for the last 3 years, you can feel his improved capability to become more than he is now, ala the Greek Freak last season. But we’ll never know since Lebron is the alpha.

He still has 4–5 years to lived up the comparison you made to Curry, Harden, or Westbrook. If Isaiah Thomas can be an MVP contender, why not Kyrie?

Harden excel when he’s the lone alpha. Westbrook has been scrutinised for not sharing the ball with Durant, but now praised for the triple-double season as an alpha, let’s give the now Kyrie as an alpha and see what he can deliver.
