Due to Apple guideline changes, we have temporarily removed the native swap function and the Discover More section on the browser page from KuCoin Wallet on iOS.
Before we get into more details, please note:
1. Your funds are SAFU in KuCoin Wallet.
2. All Android users are not affected and can use native swap function and access dApps through Discover More.
3. The new iOS version V1.8.0 does not include the swap function and Discover More section.
Why the two sections are removed?
All iOS Apps must conform to Apple’s guidelines in order to be listed in their App Store. Due to Apple guideline changes, we cannot include non-embedded softwares or dApps in the iOS App and must provide corresponding documentary for the native swap function. Thus, the swap function and Discover More section are currently removed in the iOS App.
We’ll continuously negotiate with Apple Review officers about the swap function and the display of dApps in the wallet. Please stay tuned for our updates.
How to access dApps through KuCoin Wallet?
If you’ve been interacting with DApps using KuCoin Wallet on iOS, all your assets are safe and accessible. You can view all your tokens, NFTs and DeFi assets on the home page.
All users can still access dApps by manually typing the URL or the project name into the search bar. If you’ve added the website into your bookmark, then you can directly visit the dApp by selecting it in your bookmark.
