thx jes, an honest read. i struggled for years with self-identity issues, until i realized that as an artist i don’t need to follow anyone else’s rules. i own my own path, and create my own template for living. There is a Native American belief that shaman and androgynous people are born with two spirits and have a special place in society — pretty much sums up the place my path of self-discovery has led to.
