Mega Project : Second Blog (Team Thor)
From Islamic point of view, As we are held responsible for our behavior towards other people, so are we held responsible for our behavior towards animals.On the Day of Judgment, Allah will restore the rights of every creature including the animals. If we had violated the rights of an animal in the world, then Allah will take retribution on their behalf in the Hereafter.
It’s time to move towards the final blog of mega project. My team is working for animal rights so first we decided to made 15 cages for street cats, provide food and also cover areas where we give awareness by running campaign on not only use animals for personal purpose (loading, security, for own fun) but we should also take care of their rest and needs.
There were many challenges we faced during this project one of them was to convey our message, effective to the general public who never experienced this kind of interactions so to cope up with this situation we think by placing ourselves on their level of interactions and convey our message very effectively towards them.
Some hostelite members of our team gave awareness on preserving animal rights and they also provide cages for cats living in the hostels. We asked for the left-over food from the mess staff and provide it to cats. This step was helpful for those tongue-less creatures so we decided to follow this on daily basis.
The outcomes were great. People showed on-spot positive response to our awareness and instructions. We target multi-sectoral peoples during this project work such as students, vendors, labors and colony residential and deliver our message through awareness campaigns up to 500 hundred people by in-person interactions by convincing them to deploy these things in their daily life.
We completed our project on time with full devotion and consistent hard working. Our purpose is to educate people on animal rights so we have decided to make broucher for this and continue this awareness program/campaign in the future also, starting from our home and spreading it to entire society.
