Everybody stopped blogging because Facebook and Twitter happened. Now you don’t have to post stuff on websites anymore; you can just post it on your Facebook page and everybody who was going to read it will read it on there anyway.

I personally stopped blogging daily circa 2011 because most of the stuff I was posting got repetitive. I also stopped posting because there was hardly anyone who was reading the stuff I posted. It’s the same case on Medium. Unless I get published in a big-ass publication, no one ever sees/reads my stuff. So why wouldn’t I just post stuff on Facebook or Twitter? I know for sure that some people are at least going to see my stuff instead of no one.
