I am anxious to see how Medium responds to this. I hope they continue their effort at transparency and let us know publicly. If they have examined both pieces and say the second piece falls under fair use, fine, I would accept that opinion. As a creator and doc filmmaker, both copyright and fair use are important to me. But I want to know how they handle this type of stuff and I hope they take it seriously.
