What Does Your SF Hunt Costume Say About You?
The SF Hunt is one of the best days of the year. Possibly the century. Part of what makes it so great is the costumes. If you aren’t dressed for success (ie decked out in a crazy costume) you ride that fine line of best day ever and just a really really good day.

Your costume choice can say a lot about your personality. Here are a few sample costume ideas and what they say about you as a Hunter…
1. Type of Costume: Famous Person Imitator
Everyone has someone they look up to. Whether it is a celebrity like the Kardashians or Walt Disney (shoutout for creating some of the best movies of all time), or Steph Curry (Go Dubs), there’s no shortage of celebrities to imitate.

What this says about you: You’re probably pretty connected to pop culture. You still watch American Idol (if it’s even on? You’d know…) even though Simon isn’t on it anymore. You’ll probably be able to solve all the riddles that relate to celebrities and pop culture in your city. You can piece all the famous-person, city-specific riddles/clues together. You beast.
2. Type of Costume: Whatever You Can Find
Let’s be honest, some costumes can be pretty expensive. Scratch that– most costumes are pretty expensive. It’s understandable if you decide to grab a couple of random things you find throughout your house. Why not? The final outcome might not really make sense, but it can also be pretty epic. Grab that musty top hat, those neon tights, a big stick from your front yard and call yourself a wizard. Pull out your sister’s old tutu, a burger king crown, and a blonde wig. Maybe you can pass as Peach from Mario Kart. So many stares from people wondering what you’re dressed up as. But you save money and look good doing it.

What it says about you: You’re probably forgetful. You just remembered that The SF Hunt was this morning. You’ll be a spontaneous contributor to the team. You’re very creative and this influence goes a long way to helping your team send in some of the funniest videos to Support on game day. You definitely don’t care what people think about you. And it’s endearing. Otherwise, why would you have on so much ill-fitting clothing?
3. Type of costume: Punny

Some people are blessed with the talent of being naturally clever and punny. Those talents can lead to a pretty amazing costume. Ceiling fan? Buzzkill? Face Book? How do you even come up with this stuff?!
What it says about you: You’re clever, you think outside the box, you’re not afraid to look a little funny, and you’re outgoing. Congrats Witty McWittypants, you have a skill many people wish they had. You probably jump over and back across the line of annoying your friends with puns and cracking them up. Strangers love you. Which is a HUGE asset in The SF Hunt. Don’t shy away from that.
4. Type of Costume: Team Coordinated

You guys are so jacked up for the day you’ve got everything lined up. Perfect team outfits. A clever name. Shoot, you probably already have a list of potential places this game might take you.

What it says about you: You probably loved synchronized swimming at the Olympics. And you’re probably playing with some of your best friends. And we should definitely be friends. All around, you’re ahead of the game. That is, unless another team shows up dressed like you!
5. Type of Costume: Onesie

Onesies. So many great things to say about them. They’re comfortable, look great, fit everyone, allow for optimal warmth, and come in hundreds of different designs. Not to mention they’re socially acceptable to wear in any given environment. Weddings? Break out the formal onesie. Birthday parties? Easy. Halloween? Duh. Fire and the onesie. Two great human discoveries.

What it says about you: If you wear a onesie, you’re cool by us. You understand what it means to be fun and limit how easy using the bathroom is. You are dressed for the basics: standard walking, running, biking, and interacting with strangers. The Trifecta. Plus one. Congrats to you on getting this day right.
Now that you have a better understanding of the true meaning of costumes, choose wisely. We can’t wait to see you all at the next SF Hunt! Happy costume hunting.
