When It Comes to China, Google’s Experience Still Says It All
Steven Levy

The culture barrier is huge. Most American companies assume they have awesome products-that’s a fair assumption-, but it’s ridiculous that they also assume Chinese would love their products. For 2000 years Chinese lived a completely different life from the westerners. Also, it’s a mutual misunderstanding. American knows hiring locals is important. But do locals understand American culture? You’ll argue millions of Chinese have gotten a degree here in America, but how many of them have really involved in American culture? It’s easy to live an American life in China or to live a Chinese life in America. The wall would only be torn apart if both parties agree to change.
