I actually tend to agree that this CNN story reads as just an incremental development even though I find the Russia connection to be ultimately credible. I also think Reince Priebus isn’t being told about a lot of things. Just because he’s being told there’s not much there to Russia doesn’t make it so, especially with investigations just getting underway. Priebus seems to be there to give a veneer of credibility to this administration, but the real power is with Steve Bannon, whose morality is essentially nonexistent.
