Great read. I think your changes just came with maturity. I’ve never ghosted anyone, but it’s happened to me. Sometimes it’s actually better because then you don’t need to hear why you got the boot. I’ve had reverse ghosting where they broke up with me suddenly and then explained each and everything wrong with me, when I did not ask.
