As someone who used to be grossly overweight I can tell you that sometimes it is not within a persons control. At one time I weighed 326 lbs. I exercised daily, my food intake was strictly monitored by a nutritionist and I was seeing a dr regularly yet still ballooning. When I was struggling with my weight issue I found most people (including my now ex-husband) to be like you Mike, real jerks who believed it was simply an issue of getting off my fat butt and not over eating.
