From homelessness at age 5, to harrowing earthquakes, house fires, parental separation, and more “typical” types of trauma, Harmony’s A.C.E. dose catapulted to a 10 out of 10 by age 10. Past traumatic stress had secretly morphed into imposter syndrome, depression, deep self-criticism, and crippling fear of rejection. But it never occurred to link past history to present-day plateaus.
