Influence of Active Components in Electronics Realm
Almost every industry constantly depend on electronic components, for example- aerospace, medical field, military, telecommunication, and the automotive industries. These industries rigorously depend on manufacturers that must manufacture and assemble the customized machine or engine parts carefully. They also depend on the electronic components distributors that can fulfill their needs on time and efficiently.

Active Components-
Active Components are the components or devices which depend on the energy source. They produce energy in the form of voltage or current. In other words, these devices require an external source to their operation which is known as active components.
There are various passive components used in the different industries which are used in making various equipment. They are amplified components and the list of some passive components are- diode, rectifier, bridge rectifier, transistors, semiconductor triode vacuum tubes, and tunnel diodes, etc.
Diode-
A diode is an electronic component, which is made up of semiconductor material. It allows current to flow in one direction, it restricts the current which tries to go opposite to the flow of the current. These devices are commonly used in electronic circuits that are used to convert AC to DC. Most of the diodes have a colored lining on one side that shows the direction or flow of current. Generally, the negative side is of white color.
The alternative of the diode is LED (Light Emitting Diode). When a current is applied to a LED, it beams light at an appropriate frequency. In today’s world, LEDs are used in various applications like hard disks, TV/AC remote controls, keyboards, toys and these devices are very useful as status indicators in computers as well as battery-operated electronics Transistors.
LEDs are usually used to save electricity, as they consume less energy and produce more light.
Transistors-
Transistors are considered as the invention of the twentieth century that changed electronic circuits forever. A transistor is a device that is used to increase and change electronic signals and electrical power. A transistor is a three terminal semiconductor device, which is commonly used as switching device and also used as an amplifier. This electronic component can control the voltage or current. Transistors are available in two varieties, that are bipolar junction transistor (BJT) and field effect transistors (FET). Moreover, these transistors can be divided into PNP and NPN transistors.
Integrated Circuits-
An Integrated circuit is an electronic component which is fabricated with different components like diodes, transistors, resistors, and other electronic components on a small silicon chip. These are the basic building blocks of modern electronic devices such as cell phones, computers, etc. These devices can be analog or digital integrated circuits.
